Hello everyone, I am Ian. There's a saying that goes, "There's a time for everything in life, and there's nothing you can force when it's not your time." I'd like to share a story with you. I was going for a business trip with a group of three or four people. I have a brother who has been having a streak of bad luck lately. From the beginning of this year until now, he has been consistently unlucky, losing nearly 200k USD in just a few months, almost a million in losses. Nothing seemed to go his way. I didn't think too deeply about it initially and decided to work with him on a few projects. However, I soon realized that whenever I teamed up with him, things didn't work out. You know, sometimes luck plays a significant role in business or partnerships. Luck is a crucial factor.
Later, I sat down with him and had a long discussion one evening, lasting until around 1 or 2 in the morning. We analyzed all his financial losses and experiences. You see, when your luck is good, you should know how to stay low-key, be modest, and understand how to preserve your current wealth. So many people say, "It's easy to conquer a city but difficult to defend it." After earning money, he didn't know how to manage it and squandered it, depleting his luck. He also engaged in activities he shouldn't have. So, I believe his luck is currently on the decline. Working together became very challenging, indeed.
Therefore, in a team, like many Chinese businessmen say, they talk about the Five Elements, luck, and the Six Harmonies. So, the luck of a team is crucial. Sometimes it's just a slight difference, and it seems like fate is playing a joke on you. Every action and every transaction has a small gap that prevents the business from succeeding. That's why I now have great faith in this concept. In the future, when I go out, I will do more research and consult a master to assess the luck and compatibility of the trip. Just like the ancients used to seek divination before going to war, shaking tortoise shells to see if it's auspicious. So, there's a lot of significance to it. I don't know if you believe in it, but I certainly do.
